Really great food, service, and atmosphere. The chilaquiles and hot chocolate were the best I've had in Oaxaxa. I also enjoyed the freshly baked pastries and fresh juices. The courtyard in the back is comfortably cool on a hot day.

Had a delicious baguette steak sandwich here for brunch - big portions, plenty of guac in it. Added scrambled eggs and chicken for less than 100 pesos. Lovely outdoor courtyard.

Such a cool place! We went here twice (or three times?) during our stay in Oaxaca and I will say the ambience has a very outdoorsy, in-your-backyard-patio type of hype. The staff was very friendly and they were pretty okay at keeping track of all of our orders. The first time we came here I ordered a Mediterranean sandwich which was my FAV! Would highly recommend. The second time my friend and I split an avocado baguette (grande, dear heavens it was a lot), but that wasn't the best in my opinion. We also split a brownie and a strawberry-cream filled almond croissant, which were quite delectable. Would also recommend their agua de chocolate and jarra de limonada--seriously, try the limonada! One of our friends said it was "revolutionary" on her standards of lemonade.

Came here for breakfast and tried the entomatades for the first time: love the tangy taste and was a hearty breakfast. I also tried for the first time the tejate: smoothie version, earthy and herbal in flavor, excellent and can’t wait to try more of this in Mercados. My husband had the enfrijolada con huevo and it was ok. The salsa macha provided was really good, reminiscent of another kind of Chinese chili I’ve had in the past. Beautiful courtyard inside. Highly recommend!

Cafe restaurant ser around a delightful courtyard. The sense of a little outside oasis with birds singing in the trees and hopping around the courtyard - right in a central location.

Yummy chocolatin bread filled with traditional local chocolate, beware - it's huge. It'll be difficult to fit it after breakfast, I'd recommend going for it to accompany an afternoon coffee. The vibe of the place was cool and peaceful, ideal to escape the hot weather under a shade, and the playlist was also a joy.

Beautiful courtyard garden, the food was great, service was a tiny bit slow, but not bad. We really enjoyed this! We had cappuccino, chilaquiles, and hot chocolate - it was all good!
